I am playing video games since 1993, and this is not only the worst Far Cry game, it is the worst game I have played in my life. I wish I could revert these 5 days and just wached the ending on youtube. The ending was good in my opinion. But the road there, was horrible, frustrating. There was a mission to save some hostages. I killed everyone, and when I uncuffed the hostages, they bagan When 5 was released, people said it sucks and 4 was the best. When 6 released, now people say it sucks and 5 is the best. (This is excluding the spinoffs, as those are smaller games). I literally watched it happen in front of me as they were released. This doesn't just happen to Far Cry, there are many game series that have this phenomenon. I played a bit of Far Cry 5 for the first time a few months ago and it was absolute dogshit. The crafting is terrible, the perk system is garbage, the treasure hunting is trash because it just rewards you with the same shit every single time like money, perk magazines, and a gun you've seen 1000 times already. Farcry 6 sucks (Rant) Far Cry 6. Sorry but i have to vent my frustration. First off, i played every farcry game. First one was a tech demo. Second one was very good in terms of realism. Third one was a very good hybrid of arcade-like shooter mixed with realism. Then the series just went "ALT + C" "ALT + V". Everything is copy paste. Metacritic score: 85%. With so many remakes and ports over the years, it's surprising it took so long for an actual sequel to be released. Unlike the Instincts installments, Far Cry 2 was seen as a legitimate sequel to the original and took the franchise in an entirely new direction. The characters, gameplay, style and, obviously, graphics, all take a sharp turn from the older games, in turn oUSD.
